Sarah Jenkins
David Cole
Sarah joined WSO in 2015. After graduating from the Royal College of Music, she toured globally before finding her home on the beautiful Sussex coast.
David studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He has performed with numerous national orchestras and is deeply passionate about local music education.
Q: What is your pastime outside music? A: David is a keen mountain hiker and spends his free time restoring vintage analog synthesizers.
Q: What is your pastime outside music? A: I love coastal rowing along the Sussex shore and baking sourdough bread.
Q: If you weren't a musician, what would you be? A: An acoustic engineer designing concert halls for future generations.
Q: If you weren't a musician, what would you be? A: A marine biologist exploring the local kelp forests.

Sarah has performed with leading ensembles worldwide before making Worthing her home. She cherishes the intimate connection of our community concerts and loves sharing the joy of strings.
David studied at the Royal College of Music. He loves the lyrical voice of the oboe and is deeply passionate about introducing classical masterpieces to younger generations of listeners.
Favorite Pastime: Painting dramatic seascapes along the Sussex coast.

Julian Wilcox — Principal Violin
Julian has performed with the WSO for over a decade, bringing passion and precision to the first violin section. He plays a historic 1780 Italian instrument and regularly coaches local youth ensembles.
Sarah Jenkins — Principal Oboe
Sarah joined the Worthing Symphony Orchestra in 2016. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, she frequently performs as a soloist across the UK and leads our woodwind workshops.
Marcus Vance — Principal Cello
Marcus is celebrated for his warm tone and expressive playing. Beside orchestral performances, he conducts youth masterclasses and collaborates on community music initiatives.
